Prune Cake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
2 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. mashed prunes
1 c. nuts
3 eggs
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Mix sugar and oil.
Stir in eggs.
Sift flour, spices and soda together.
Add flour mixture, alternating with milk, ending with flour.
Add prunes and nuts; mix well.
Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
