Hungarian Goulash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 lb. cubed middle cut of chuck
3 medium onions, diced coarsely
1/2 green pepper, diced
1 can whole tomatoes (2 c.)
1 Tbsp. oil
4 large potatoes, diced coarsely
1 lb. peas (optional)
6 medium sized carrots, sliced
salt
paprika
Preparation

Saute onions and green pepper in oil until golden brown.
Add tomatoes and simmer until soft and thickened.
Add the cubed meat which has been seasoned with salt and paprika.
Cook covered until almost done, about 1 1/2 hours.
Add ketchup, vegetables and enough water to cover ingredients.
Cook slowly until done. Serves 8.
