Corn Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 large ears of corn (roasting ears)
    6 large bell peppers (if small, use 10), cut up or ground up
    6 large onions (if small, use about 10), cut up or ground up
    2 small cabbages, shredded
    1/2 gal. vinegar
    2 pt. sugar (white)
    3 Tbsp. turmeric
    1/2 to 1 box (small) dry mustard
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Cut the corn off the cob and scrape the cob.
    Mix all the ingredients except sugar and cook about 15 minutes in a pot, then add sugar and cook until tender.
    Put into sterilized jars and seal.
