Kraut Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can chopped kraut
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
    1 small jar pimentos
    1 grated carrot
    1/4 c. oil
    1/4 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. sugar or less (try 1/2 c. sugar first, add more if not sweet enough)
    1 medium onion
Preparation
    Wash and drain kraut in colander.
    Mix other ingredients, then add oil and sugar.
    Marinate overnight before eating.
    Will keep a month in refrigerator.
