Orzo Primavera - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. orzo, uncooked (orzo is a rice-shaped pasta)
    1 lb. fresh asparagus, cut into 1-inch pieces
    3 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 c. chopped sweet red pepper
    1 tsp. butter or margarine, melted
    1 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. frozen English peas, thawed
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. grated lemon rind
    1/4 tsp. ground white pepper
    1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Combine
    water and salt in a large Dutch oven; bring to a boil.
    Add
    orzo and cook 5 minutes.
    Add asparagus and cook 4 minutes.
    Drain
    and
    set
    mixture aside in a large serving bowl.
