Dyer'S Hot Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 cold, boiled potatoes
    1 onion, sliced thin
    salt and pepper to taste
    4 Tbsp. sweet cream
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 pt. vinegar
    cold, boiled salmon
    cold, boiled potatoes
    celery, chopped
    onion, minced
    salt and pepper
    salad dressing
    1 head cabbage
    1 egg, beaten
    butter the size of a hickory nut
    1 teacupful vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    a little flour
    salt to taste
    1/2 lb. crab meat, picked
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    1/2 saltspoon paprika
    dash of salt
    mayonnaise dressing
    parsley, finely chopped
    2 c. cooked rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 c. cold milk
    3 egg whites
    1/2 box Knox gelatine
    1/2 pt. cold water
    1 pt. boiling water
    juice of 3 lemons
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    bananas, sliced
    oranges, sliced
    pineapple, sliced
    whipped cream
Preparation
    Soak gelatine in cold water, add boiling water and stir to dissolve.
    Add lemon juice and sugar; strain.
    When beginning to stiffen, put a layer of jelly (jello) in a dish, then layer of sliced bananas, another layer of jelly, then one of sliced oranges, another of jelly, one of sliced pineapple, and finish with jelly.
