Sylvia'S Cheesecake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. cream cheese
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. cornstarch (use potato starch for Passover version)
    1/4 lb. butter
    3 extra large or 4 egg yolks
    3 extra large or 4 egg whites
    1 c. heavy cream, beaten stiff
Preparation
    Have all ingredients, except cream, at room temperature.
