Mock Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sliced green tomatoes
    4 c. sugar
    2 small or 1 large pkg. jello (desired flavor; berry flavors best)
Preparation
    Blend tomatoes to pulp consistency.
    Do not drain.
    In large pan, bring to a rolling boil.
    Add
    sugar; boil 15 minutes, stirring almost constantly.
    Take off stove.
    Add jello; stir until well mixed.
    Put into jars and seal.
