Au Gratin Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. pkg. frozen hash browns
    3/4 c. butter
    1 medium onion
    1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 pt. half and half
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Spread frozen hash browns in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Cut up butter on top of potatoes.
    Pour half and half on top.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Add cheese and bake 10 minutes longer until cheese is melted.
