Italian Tomato Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. olive oil
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
    1 c. green pepper, chopped
    2 tsp. basil
    1 tsp. oregano
    2 bay leaves
    2 tsp. salt
    1 (13 oz.) can tomato puree
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    2 Tbsp. dry red wine
    1 c. fresh tomatoes, chopped
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1/2 c. fresh parsley, chopped
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, chopped
    1/2 c. Parmesan, grated
Preparation
    Saute first 8 ingredients and mushrooms.
    When onions are clear, add next 5 ingredients.
    Cover.
    Simmer 45 minutes, then add parsley.
    Top with cheese.
    Serve over spaghetti and meatballs.
