Chinese Hash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 lb. ground beef
    1 c. onion, chopped
    1/4 c. soy sauce
    1 c. celery, chopped
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    1 (5 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced
    1 c. frozen or fresh peas
    1/2 c. uncooked rice
Preparation
    Brown ground beef.
    Add onion to drippings and cook to soften. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
    Bake in casserole for 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle chow mein noodles (canned) over the top and bake 15 minutes longer.
