Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. flour
    2 lb. tenderized round steak, cut in pieces
    2 tsp. melted fat
    2 c. canned tomatoes
    1 green pepper, chopped
    2 carrots, sliced
    1 tomato juice
Preparation
    Mix salt with flour; pound into steak.
    Sear steak in hot fat in a large skillet or pan.
    Add vegetables.
    Cover.
    Simmer for 2 hours or until meat is tender.
    Add tomato juice, if necessary. Serves 6.
