Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. self-rising corn meal
3 Tbsp. self-rising flour
1 Tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 egg
1 c. milk or water
2 c. self-rising meal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sweet milk
6 slices white bread, broken into small pieces and mixed with crumbled cornbread
1 whole egg
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sage
1 tsp. black pepper
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cans chicken broth
2 tsp. margarine

Preparation

Pour into crock-pot and cook on high for 2 hours. Turn to low and cook for 2 hours.
