Shrimp Creole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    2 Tbsp. flour
    3 onions
    2 cloves garlic
    4 celery ribs
    1 bell pepper
    2 cans tomato paste
    1 qt. water
    6 to 8 bay leaves
    4 lb. shrimp
    salt and pepper
    cooked rice
Preparation
    Use a large pot.
    Add together the oil and flour, stirring until you have a brown gravy.
    Add vegetables; cook until tender. Add tomato paste, water and seasonings.
    Cook slowly for 1 hour. Add shrimp to sauce; cook another 10 minutes.
    Serve on a bed of cooked rice.
