Spiced Nuts(Microwave Style) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. firmly packed dark brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. nutmeg
    1/8 tsp. ground cloves
    1 1/2 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 c. walnuts, pecans, cashew halves or a combination of these nuts
Preparation
    In a deep 2-quart pan, combine first seven ingredients.
    Heat, uncovered, on Full power 1 1/2 minutes; stir occasionally.
    Add 1/2 cup nuts at a time to syrup mixture.
    Stir until well coated.
    With a slotted spoon lift out nuts; reserving the draining syrup.
    Place coated nuts in a shallow 1 1/2-quart heat-resistant non-metallic baking dish.
    Repeat procedure with remaining nuts.
    Heat all the coated nuts, uncovered on Full power 5 minutes or until syrup begins to harden slightly.
    Transfer nuts to greased wax paper to allow to cool and harden.
