Three Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can green beans
    1 can yellow wax beans
    1 can light red kidney beans
    1 medium red onion, thinly sliced
    3/4 c. sugar
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. cooking oil
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Drain and rinse beans in cold water. Mix sugar, vinegar, oil, salt and pepper (recommend mixing in blender). Pour over mixture of beans and onions. Chill overnight in tightly covered container. Shake a couple of times during chilling. Drain and serve. Yield: 8 servings.
