German Potato Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 medium potatoes
3 slices bacon
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 Tbsp. flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery seed
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation

Cook potatoes and slice.
Cook bacon.
Remove bacon and reserve fat.
Add chopped onion and cook until tender.
To that, add flour, sugar, salt and celery seed.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until mixture is bubbly.
Remove from heat; stir in water and vinegar.
Heat to boiling, stirring constantly 1 minute. Remove from heat.
Crumble bacon in mixture.
Add potato slices. Serve warm.
