B. B.'S Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium chuck roast
    5 cubed potatoes
    4 thinly sliced carrots
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    1 tsp. Cajun seasoning
    1 tsp. onion powder or 1 large onion, quartered
    cornstarch (to thicken)
Preparation
    Cook roast until fork-tender in crock-pot with water. Add potatoes, carrots and onion. Add seasonings. Simmer until vegetables are tender. Add 3 tablespoons cornstarch to 1/2 cup cold water. Add to broth; simmer until thickened.
