Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    3 1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. flour, sifted
    1/2 c. milk
    9 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating until very light and fluffy.
    Add flour and milk alternately (flour first and last).
    Add vanilla.
    Bake in tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Reduce to 250\u00b0.
    Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes.
