Cracker Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 c. chopped pecans
    18 plain crackers, crushed
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1/4 c. pineapple topping for ice cream
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold in nuts, cracker crumbs and vanilla.
    Mix well and pour into well buttered 9-inch pie pan. Bake in preheated 375\u00b0 oven for about 35 minutes.
    Cool.
    Whip the cream until stiff.
    Fold in pineapple topping and spread on pie. Chill.
