Susie'S Foolproof Roast - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 to 4 lb. arm, chuck or shoulder roast
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cans water (16 oz.)
1 large onion
6 large potatoes, peeled but not cut up
peeled carrots (optional)
seasoned salt and pepper
Preparation

Rinse meat; place in roasting pan.
Surround the meat with the whole, peeled potatoes.
Cover the meat with the can of soup and sliced onions.
Pour 16 ounces of water around the meat.
Lightly sprinkle the entire contents with seasoned salt and pepper.
Cover with a lid or foil.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
(There should be plenty of juice to make gravy.)
