1-2-3-4 Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter or margarine
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
4 eggs
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. lemon
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar thoroughly and beat in one egg at a time until all four are added.
Sift flour with baking powder, alternately adding flour and ending with flour.
Vanilla and lemon can be added to the milk.
For layer cake, bake at 400\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
For cupcakes bake at 425\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
