Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 head lettuce, shredded
    1/2 head cabbage, shredded
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 medium green pepper, chopped
    3 stalks celery, diced
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes plus juice
    1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
    water to cover
Preparation
    Place in large pot (5 to 6-quart) and cook 3 to 4 hours over medium heat.
    Serves 10.
