Chicken Pot Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine or cooking oil, melted
4 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
3 c. chicken broth
1 c. milk
2 or 3 c. diced, cooked chicken
salt and pepper
1 (16 oz.) can mixed vegetables, drained
1 (16 oz.) can green peas, drained
Preparation

Combine butter and flour in saucepan over low heat and brown lightly.
Slowly add chicken broth and milk until smooth and thickened.
Stir in chicken, mixed vegetables and peas.
Pour in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
Roll pastry real thin; cut in 1/2-inch strips.
Arrange in lattice design over chicken mixture. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes until golden brown.
You can make 2 layers of lattice on mixture.
