Grandma'S Short Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    1 c. sugar
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well.
    Pour into cast-iron frying pan. Cook at 350\u00b0 until golden brown.
    Test like a cake layer.
    Great with fresh strawberries or peaches (sweeten).
