Ingredients

1 (2 lb.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes
1 1/2 sticks butter/margarine, melted
1 c. chopped onion
8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
garlic salt or herbs to taste
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 pt. sour cream
2 c. cornflake crumbs
Preparation

Thaw potatoes until workable.
Mix all ingredients except 3/4 of the butter.
Pour into 13 x 9-inch pan. Top with crumbs. Drizzle with remaining butter.
Bake at 325\u00b0 (about 1 hour) until golden and bubbly.
