Apple Pumpkin Butter - cooking recipe

1 (29 oz.) can pumpkin
2 c. apple juice
1 c. unsweetened applesauce
1 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/8 tsp. cloves
Preparation

Put all ingredients into a heavy 2-quart saucepan.
Simmer, uncovered, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, stirring occasionally until it is as thick as pudding.
Scrape into jars; cool.
Cover and refrigerate.
Great for gift giving.
