Potato-Leek Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 medium baking potatoes, peeled and sliced
    4 carrots, peeled and sliced
    2 ribs celery, sliced
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 pkg. Knorr leek soup mix
    Salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Place potatoes in large stock pot, cover with water and cook until done.
    Using a potato masher, mash some of the potatoes to thicken the soup.
    Add carrot and celery and cook a while longer. Add butter and leek soup mix and bring back to boil.
    Simmer for 30 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper to taste and heavy cream.
    Stir well and serve.
