Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 qt. strawberries, washed, capped and drained
    1 c. water
    1 c. sugar
    3 level Tbsp. cornstarch
    3 level Tbsp. strawberry jello mix
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
Preparation
    Boil water.
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and strawberry mix and slowly add dry ingredients into boiling water so as not to become lumpy.
    Boil for 3 minutes until bright red.
    Let stand until cool while slicing strawberries in cooled pie shell.
    Then pour cooled filling over strawberries and place in refrigerator.
    Serve with whipped cream.
