Bass Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 potatoes, diced
    2 onions, diced
    1 can whole tomatoes, cut up
    1 qt. milk
    pinch of soda
    1 small box elbow macaroni, cooked
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook potatoes and onions until tender.
    Let water get sort of cooked out of pan.
    Add tomatoes and cook until tender.
    Add pinch of soda and stir.
    Add milk and macaroni.
    Heat, but do not boil.
