Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

1 (8-inch) graham cracker pie crust
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. lemon juice
2 egg yolks, separate from whites
4 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

Put sweetened condensed milk into mixing bowl. Gradually add lemon juice to milk. Then add egg yolks and stir until well blended and thickened. Pour filling into pie shell. Add cream of tartar to egg whites and beat until stiff enough to hold peak. Add 1 tablespoon sugar at a time, beating until stiff and glossy. Pile lightly onto pie filling. Bake at 325\u00b0 until lightly browned. Be careful not to burn. Keep in fridge.
