Sweet And Sour Pork - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 lb. pork shoulder, cubed
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/4 c. plum jam
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 c. sliced carrots
    1/2 c. sliced green onion
    1/2 c. cubed green pepper
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Drain pineapple.
    Reserve juice.
    Brown pork in oil.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Remove pork and saute vegetables.
    Remove. Blend jam, juice, vinegar and soy sauce.
    Stir a little sauce with cornstarch and ginger.
    Add to skillet and cook until mixture thickens.
    Stir in pork, pineapple and vegetables.
    May be served with rice.
    Serves 4.
