Mexican Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. smoked sausage links
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 can condensed tomato soup (10 3/4 oz.)
    1 can condensed chili beef soup (11 1/4 oz.)
    1 (9 oz.) pkg. frozen cut green beans, cooked and drained
    1/4 c. water
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg
Preparation
    Mix oil, cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, milk and egg in a mixing bowl and set aside.
    In skillet, brown sausage, beans and water; bring to boil.
    Pour into 2-quart shallow baking dish (12 x 8 x 2-inch).
    Spoon corn meal mixture around edge of baking dish (evenly).
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes or until done. Makes about 5 1/2 cups.
