Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    chopped apples
    3 Tbsp. oleo or butter
    7/8 c. sweet milk
    brown sugar to taste
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Work into this the oleo or butter.
    Add sweet milk; mix well.
    Roll to 1/4 inch thick.
    Spread with melted oleo.
    (I use the balance of the 3 tablespoons mentioned) and enough chopped apples to cover dough to 1/4 inch of edge.
    Add brown sugar to taste.
    Sprinkle with cinnamon.
    Roll as a cinnamon roll, pinching edges to roll.
    Cut into 1/2 inch slices. Place into pan as you would cinnamon rolls.
    Cover with sauce. Bake at 350\u00b0 until brown and apples are done.
