Batter Dipped Sandwiches - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano
    1/2 tsp. dried basil
    1 c. beer
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. Swiss cheese
    2 (4 oz.) pkg. sliced cooked ham
    4 oz. sliced cooked turkey breast
    1/4 c. mustard
    8 slices white bread
    vegetable oil
Preparation
    In bowl with fork, beat together flour, baking soda, salt, oregano, basil and beer until well blended to make batter.
    Cut cheese, ham and turkey slices in half crosswise.
    Spread mustard evenly on one side of each bread slice.
    Top mustard side of 4 bread slices with cheese, ham and turkey slices, dividing evenly and trimming to fit.
    Place remaining bread slices on top, mustard side down to make 4 sandwiches; press each sandwich gently to seal.
