Italian Spaghetti Meat Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can tomato puree (1 lb. 12 oz. can)
    1 can tomato paste
    1 can water
    1 tsp. sugar
    2/3 lb. beef
    1/3 lb. pork
    2 Tbsp. Italian cheese, grated
    1 tsp. oregano
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 small clove garlic
    a few sprigs of parsley
Preparation
    Grind beef and pork together.
    Brown meat, onion, parsley and garlic in about 3 tablespoons of oil.
    Add cheese and oregano (mushrooms, too, if you like them).
    Add all ingredients to tomato mixture.
    Season to taste with salt and pepper.
    Cook for about 2 1/2 hours on low heat.
