Quick Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
1/2 c. shortening
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk
1 egg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix sugar, salt and flour together.
Rub in the shortening and then take out 1/2 cup of this mixture for the topping.
Add soda, sour milk and egg.
Mix well.
Mix in by hand the cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.
Grease and flour 2 pie pans.
Divide the mixture evenly into the 2 pans.
Top with the 1/2 cup flour mixture.
Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
