Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. cocoa or chocolate
    1 c. milk or cream
    1 Tbsp. butter
    2 tsp. marshmallow cream
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir the sugar, cocoa and milk together and let them cook over a moderate fire until drops of the mixture harden in cold water. Then add the melted butter, marshmallow cream and the vanilla; beat as huskily as possible and pour on a greased platter.
    Cut in squares as it cools.
