Glossy Chocolate Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 oz. chocolate sq. (unsweetened), grated
dash of salt
1/2 c. boiling water
1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch.
Add chocolate, salt and water. Cook until mixture thickens.
Remove from heat.
Stir in margarine and vanilla.
Spread while warm on 1 loaf or 9 x 9-inch cake. Frosting remains smooth and soft.
