Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. broccoli
    1 qt. half and half
    2 sticks butter
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1 qt. chicken stock
Preparation
    Steam broccoli, set aside.
    Melt butter, add flour and make a paste.
    Cook 2 to 4 minutes. Add chicken stock, stirring with wire whip.
    Bring to boil to thicken, turn heat to low.
    Add broccoli, half and half, salt and pepper.
    Heat on low, do not boil.
