Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    2 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
    1/4 tsp. mace
    8 eggs
    1/2 c. milk
    Orange Butter Glaze
    flaked coconut
Preparation
    Sift flour with baking powder and salt.
    Cream butter 10 minutes or until very soft and fluffy.
    Add sugar, two tablespoons at a time, creaming thoroughly after each addition.
    Blend in vanilla and mace.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Add flour alternately with milk, beginning and ending with flour and beating after each addition until smooth. Bake in a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan at 325\u00b0 about 1 1/2 hours or until cake tester inserted into cake comes out clean. Cool in pan 15 minutes; remove and finish cooling on rack.
    Glaze top and drizzle down sides of cake with Orange Butter Glaze. Sprinkle with flaked coconut.
