Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can vegetable soup
    1/2 to 1 tsp. dried whole thyme
    3 c. mashed potatoes
    1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook ground beef, onion and celery in a large skillet until meat is browned, stirring to crumble.
    Drain off pan drippings; stir in soup and thyme.
    Spoon meat mixture into a lightly greased 2-quart shallow casserole.
    Spread potatoes evenly over meat mixture.
