Pineapple Crisp Coffee Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. Kellogg's corn flakes cereal
2 Tbsp. regular margarine
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/2 c. regular all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. margarine, softened
3/4 c. sugar
1 (8 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, well drained (keep syrup)
1 egg
1/4 c. flaked coconut
1/4 c. halved maraschino cherries
Preparation

Measure corn flakes and crush to measure to 3/4 cup.
Set aside.
Measure 2 tablespoons margarine, sugar, the cinnamon and nutmeg into small saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
Remove from heat.
Add crushed cereal and mix well.
Set aside for topping.
