Apple Crisp - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 6 c. apples, peeled, cored and sliced thinly
1 1/4 to 1 3/4 c. sugar, divided
1 tsp. ground cinnamon (optional)
3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. rolled oats
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
Preparation

In bowl, mix together apples, 1/2 to 1 cup sugar (amount will vary with sweetness of apples) and cinnamon.
Arrange in ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
