Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. sour milk or buttermilk
    2 sq. chocolate, melted
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. sour milk or buttermilk
Preparation
    Sift together flour, sugar, soda and salt.
    Add shortening, vanilla and 1 cup sour milk.
    Beat 2 minutes with mixer, or 150 strokes.
    Add melted chocolate, eggs and 1/2 cup sour milk.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Pour into two 8 or 9-inch layer pans.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
