Jello Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box white or cherry chip cake mix
    1 large pkg. cherry or strawberry jello
    1 envelope Dream Whip
    1 large pkg. instant vanilla pudding
    8 oz. whipping cream or use whipped topping
Preparation
    Bake cake according to package directions in a 9 x 13-inch pan. Mix jello with 1/2 the water called for on package.
    Poke holes in cake with handle end of wooden spoon or similar object.
    Holes should be spaced approximately 1 1/2 to 2 inches apart.
    Pour jello evenly over warm cake and cool.
    Stir dry Dream Whip and pudding together.
    Add milk called for in pudding only.
    Mix with electric mixer until thickened and spread over top of cake.
    Whip cream in a metal bowl, adding 1 teaspoon vanilla and sugar to taste.
    Spread over pudding layer.
    Cover and refrigerate.
