Banana Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 c. milk
2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
1 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 bananas
Preparation

Combine sugar, flour and salt in top of double boiler.
Add milk, slowly mixing.
Cook until thick.
Cook 10 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
Stir small amount of mixture into the bowl with the egg yolks.
Pour the egg yolk mixture back in with the hot mixture while beating.
Cook 1 minute.
Remove; add butter and vanilla and cool.
Slice bananas into shell; cover with filling. Top with meringue.
