Pineapple Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. brown sugar or 1 c. brown and 1 c. white
    4 Tbsp. butter
    4 Tbsp. flour
    3 egg yolks
    2 pt. water
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Put in double boiler.
    Boil until thick; add juice of 1 can pineapple.
    Remove from stove.
    Add crushed pineapple.
    Put layer of graham crackers (not rolled) and layer of pudding until used.
    Use egg whites for meringue on top.
