Never Fail Pie Crust(Makes 2 Double Crusts And 1 Or 2 Pie Shells.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    water
Preparation
    Measure dry ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
    Cut in shortening with a pastry blender.
    Break egg into a 2-cup measuring cup and beat with a fork.
    Add water to level of 1 cup and beat again.
    Make a well in the center of the flour mixture and pour liquid into well.
    Mix lightly with a fork, tossing flour from sides until it is all moistened.
    Knead.
