Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 bunch broccoli
1/4 c. butter
2 onions
2 c. chopped celery
1 chopped garlic clove
1/4 c. flour
4 c. milk
4 c. chicken broth
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. marjoram
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Trim broccoli and cut into 1/2-inch thick slices.
Steam in salted water until tender.
Saute onions, celery and garlic in butter.
Stir in flour.
Add milk, broth and herbs.
Stir over low heat until thickened.
Add broccoli, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with almonds and chopped tomatoes.
